Dim er kalia / Egg Curry

‘Kalia’ ( Curry ) is a Bengali cooking term which represents a very rich preparation of egg , fish , meat or vegetables. The gravy is flavored with lots of onion , ginger-garlic , tomato and finally with a sprinkle of bengali Garam masala.

Dim er Kalia is prepared with hard-boiled eggs. Hard boil, but just about , keep your yolk slightly gooey.

Dalgona coffee / Korean Whipped Coffee

Dalgona coffee (the name ‘Dalgona’ derived from a Korean ‘Honeycomb toffee’) is a Korean beverage made by whipping equal proportions of Instant Coffee powder, sugar, and hot water until it becomes creamy and then adding it to cold or hot milk.

It is popularized on social media during the 2019-20 Corona virus Pandemic. A perfect way to enjoy fancy coffee at home, and so easy to make that anyone can do it.

Chicken Kofta Biryani

Kofta is a family of meatball dishes found in many countries including the Indian subcontinent. In the simplest form, koftas consist of balls of minced orcground meat , usually chicken, lamb, beef or pork , mixed with different kinds of spices.

In India , non-vegetarian koftas are usually made from mutton or chicken and vegetarian varieties include koftas made from potato, paneer, or raw banana.

Shrimp and fish koftas are found in South India and West Bengal.

Tomato – Shorshe Rui / Carp in Tomato – Mustard Gravy

It is a bengali style fish curry , prepared with mustard and tomatoes. This curry is easy to make with a little twist to regular mustard fish. Fish like rohu, katla, aar, pabda, hilsa etc. can be prepared with this gravy.
